Green tile meadow transforms landscape atelier office interior

Architecture rarely begins from neutrality. Spaces often carry traces of previous uses and economies. In this project, an anonymous interior becomes the setting for a quiet transformation. Rather than erase its provisional character, the intervention works from within it. A landscape practice settles inside, introducing new concerns related to vegetation, light and cultivation. The architectural gestures remain restrained, allowing office work and plant life to coexist within the same environment.

The primary gesture appears on the floor. Green ceramic tiles extend across the space, punctuated by small yellow squares scattered like blossoms. The composition suggests an abstract meadow translated into ceramic. Instead of reinforcing the neutrality typical of office interiors, the floor introduces a subtle optimism, transforming the workspace into a small cultivated landscape.

Above, the ceiling responds with an opposite move. Thin metal lines cross the space diagonally, forming a light geometric web suspended overhead. They sketch in the air what the tiles imply on the ground, creating a second and more delicate structure. Rather than conceal the roughness of the existing ceiling, the intervention acknowledges it. The assembly of simple and inexpensive elements evokes a quiet spirit close to arte povera, where modest materials become tools for spatial invention.

Between the tiled meadow below and the metallic constellation above, the office unfolds with minimal interruption. Structural columns and opaque walls remain visible, occasionally wrapped in reflective asphaltic screens that multiply fragments of the interior.

Light enters through a deep window and moves across tiles, plants and desks. The architecture does not seek completion. Instead, it establishes a framework where everyday work and cultivation can gradually shape the atmosphere of the space.
