Anna Lazar has designed Cafe Goodies as a calm, light-filled setting for everyday coffee in Minsk. Located at Bratskaya 9, the 35.5-square-metre interior uses warm whites, muted creams and soft beige to make daylight and texture the defining features of the room.

Clean architectural lines and restrained detailing establish a simple backdrop, while subtle vertical rhythms bring depth to the walls and counter fronts. Rounded tables and softly curved upholstered chairs temper the geometry of the room, introducing a tactile quality that keeps the interior from feeling austere.

Lighting helps define the café’s smaller areas without closing off the plan. Delicate pendant lamps hang above the tables, marking intimate places to sit within an otherwise open room. Reflections from glass and glossy surfaces carry daylight further into the interior and make the modest footprint feel more expansive.

The bar is conceived as a precise, uncluttered centre for the coffee-making process. Its sculptural form gives the service area a clear presence, while curated artwork and restrained decorative elements add character without interrupting the overall composition. Subtle changes in finish and the repeated vertical details create visual order across the small space.

Designed for lingering as well as quick visits, Cafe Goodies relies on proportion, soft colour and carefully chosen light rather than a single statement gesture. The result is an understated café interior where the design supports conversation and the everyday ritual of coffee.
