YET. Design Studio has expanded its Strut Chair into a three-piece furniture collection. A shared structural idea now shapes a chair, table and pouf, with aluminum angle profiles brought forward as the defining feature of each object.

Strut begins with a question about what an object chooses to reveal. In conventional furniture, the supporting system is expected to carry weight and then recede behind the surface. YET. instead treats structure as the starting point of form, allowing its supports to establish proportion, rhythm and identity.
Inspired by the clarity of aluminum angle profiles, the collection places construction in plain view. The profiles are not applied as decoration; their relationship to the seat, surface or volume determines how each piece is composed. Balance takes precedence over symmetry, while repetition creates a measured visual cadence.
Careful proportions and refined connections soften aluminum’s usual association with technical precision. Here, the material reads as tactile and quietly expressive. The collection does not rely on mass or complexity to suggest strength. Its presence comes from the clarity of the framework and the way light moves across it.

The Strut Chair is the collection’s first expression, introduced during Milan Design Week in 2025. Its stackable construction extends the structural language beyond an individual object: placed together, the chairs create a larger rhythm of lines and intervals.
The Strut Table translates the same principles into a shared horizontal plane. Its repeated supports give depth and shadow to the composition, while considered proportions bring the object to a clear, functional scale. Structure remains visible as part of the table’s identity rather than a secondary system beneath it.
The Strut Pouf brings the framework into a more compact form. A circular seat meets a rhythmic aluminum base, setting two geometries in balance. Repeated profiles shift in appearance as the pouf is seen from different angles, giving a familiar typology a sculptural quality.

Chair, table and pouf do not repeat one silhouette. Instead, each interprets the same structural thought at a different scale and for a different use. The result is a furniture family connected by construction: structure is no longer separate from character but is what carries it.
