Nolastar returns with a new material iteration that reframes its long standing spatial system through a refined metallic language. Designed by Pablo Octavio, Nolastar_aluminium reinterprets the brand’s signature room divider and curtain system in hand brushed aluminium, shifting its presence from soft partition to architectural element.

Rather than altering the core geometry, the update focuses on material transformation. The aluminium surface introduces a subtle interplay between light and texture, capturing reflections while retaining the tactile irregularity of manual finishing. The result is a system that operates simultaneously as divider, surface, and luminous object within interior space.

The use of hand brushed aluminium defines the character of the new collection. Each panel carries slight variations, allowing the surface to register traces of production and human touch. This approach contrasts with the precision of laser cutting, which shapes the system’s modular components with clarity and consistency.

Together, these processes establish a balance between industrial fabrication and artisanal treatment. The material remains durable and adaptable, while gaining a depth that responds to changing light conditions across the day.

In addition to aluminium, the system continues to be available in wood and polyethylene, extending its applicability across different spatial and atmospheric contexts.
